DUMBO ARTS XAYC COLLECTIVE

 

 

Location: Brooklyn Bridge Park -

Empire Fulton Ferry

 

In collaboration with the XAYC Collective: Artists Daniela Kostova, Natalia Mount, Joro De Boro and Marion Wilson

 

French 2D was asked to produce this proposal for a temporary installation to set the stage for XAYC (pronounced "house") with pieces + sound performances by the artists, embedded in the stretched scrim tower and planning designed by French 2D. The project was an opportunity to further explore the narrative possibilities of projected images and remote events, grafted onto a singular collective space. The project was well received by the committee - sufficient funding could not be secured.
